In 2003, construction began on Bodegas Vetus on a 20-hectare plot of vineyard in the Zamora town of Toro, the main reference point for the denomination that bears his name. The farm sits on relatively poor silt loam soils on the hill where the six plots into which it is divided are located.

Without losing the spirit of Toro wines, Vetus is a renewal of concepts. A decidedly innovative new concept.

Bodegas Vetus produces three wines: Flor de Vetus, Vetus and Celsus. It also has 100% Verdejo from the D.O. Rueda also called Flor de Vetus.
