The name of the beer series Zenryaku Konominante Kiitenaize SORRY could be translated from Japanese as 'Sorry, I didn't ask you what you want!'. It's a series of special brews where the head brewers of Yo-Ho have let their imagination run free and tried to create a truly Japanese brew. Previous beers under this name have been the mystifying Kurogo Imperial Porter (reviewed here), as well as a sake barrel-aged strong ale and a white IPA. These beers are all brewed as one-off batches, and are snapped up as quickly as they’re canned, so it’s quite possible that this beer will be all but gone by the time you read this. As the name suggests, it’s a 4% session ale made with yuzu peels and rock salt.
