The 2014 Beaujolais Village “Les Vignes de Thulon” comes from Jean-Marc’s four hectares of 50-year-old vines and spent 6 months in cuves. It has a slightly disjointed nose at the moment, possibly suffering a little bottle shock. The palate is medium-bodied with raspberry and pomegranate fruit. It is not a complex Beaujolais Villages, but there is satisfactory length here. Give this Beaujolais Village another 6 months to settle in the bottle.
