Puligny-Montrachet is an apartment wine denomination at the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy. It enjoys an oceanic climate with a semi-continental influence. Both red wine and white wine can be produced there from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
The words of the Bureau interprofessionnel des vins de Bourgogne (BIVB) on the 2018 vintage leave no room for doubt: the wines of this year should belong to a "very great year" .
For the whites, the BIVB announces wines with very beautiful aromatic complexity, explosive on the nose, whose diversity of aromas reflects incredibly well that of each terroir.
The reds are structured and powerful, with coated tannins , again according to the BIVB. A vintage full of indulgence with accomplished maturities.
