Garnet red. On the nose, red berries (raspberry, blackberry) from the Grenache come together with the Mourvèdre’s spicy, cocoa notes, the “terroir” reveals a very fresh bouquet of laurel and menthol. If on entry, the wine displays the typical fullness of old Grenache vines, the structure of the Mourvedre kicks in, firming up the finish with tight, long lasting tannins. The ripe fruit gives way to spicy notes (nutmeg, cloves) and roasted coffee.
